I am aware that the state of Connecticut banned entertainment (3D keepsake) ultrasounds effective July 1, 2009. While the Maryland General Assembly may not currently be working on a similar bill, I would like to express my interest in elective ultrasounds remaining optional for pregnant women in the State of Maryland. By signing this petition, I am requesting that the Maryland State Representatives pass a bill to REGULATE the 3D ultrasound industry rather than LEGISLATE the industry out of business.
